1971 LAND ROVER SERIES IIA SWB

This 1971 Land Rover Series 2A SWB was first registered on the 4th May 1971 making it a late 2A. Supplied new by Sturgess of Leicester the land-rover main agents. An owner emigrated to Australia in the 1990s and left the land-rover on a friend's farm in North Norfolk "saying it might be worth a few quid one day ". It was used around the farm for a year or two (which may account for the few dings in the front wings) then stored up in the barn from where our purchased it in 2014. After very careful recommissioning, servicing, and fitting a new rear cross member it was put back on road. The millage shows 30,290 and due to the past history and the way it drives,, our vendor believes the millage is correct. The land-rover is described as being in very original condition, other than our vendor has fitted 3.5 diffs to make it more use able and economical on the road. The original 4.7 diffs are available if required. The original tool role, Jack, starting handle and handbook are all in the toolbox under the passenger seat. Comes with V5. 30,290 recorded miles
