1976 TRIUMPH SPITFIRE 1500

While this Triumph 1500's V5C shows nine registered keepers overall, it has had one lady owner since 1989. The car was stored in a dry garage for many years while the owner lived abroad. The Spitfire had a bodywork restoration in 2000 (when its colour was changed from red), with mechanical work done in 2018 and 2024. The vendor reports that the body is generally sound and the car starts and runs well. 

The Spitfire was registered in September 1976 and is showing 85,867 miles on its odometer. Its last MoT expired in December 2020 after having been tested the previous year at an indicated 85,831 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Spitfire no longer requires annual testing. Paperwork includes the current and past V5Cs, some older invoices and MoTs from 1985.
