1971 ALFA ROMEO GT JUNIOR 1.3
Launched in 1963, the 105 Series Giulia GT Coupe was styled by Giorgetto Giugiaro when he was a young designer on contract to Bertone. It remained in production until 1976. The GT 1300 Junior came out in 1965 with Alfa's high-revving 1290cc twin-cam engine of 89bhp, giving 100mph and 0-60mph in 12.5 seconds. The underpinnings came from the new Giulia Ti sporting saloon, with five-speed manual gearbox, independent front suspension, coil-sprung live rear axle, and all-round disc brakes. This example, which is being offered as a total restoration project, was registered new the UK in May 1971 and has had just three owners from new, with the last registered owner taking ownership in May 1982. The odometer shows 94,234 miles. Three old MoT certificates show the mileage rise from 67,388 miles in 1981 to 82,072 miles in 1985, before the car was taken off the road in 1986. Comes with V5C, the three MoT certificates, one expired MoT inspection report and Alfa Romeo Owners' Club letter of Origin.
