This 1969 Jaguar 240 was supplied new by Henlys London Ltd to Ashwells Engineering Ltd of London. The Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate that comes with the car shows that it left the factory on the 5 February 1969 as a manual with overdrive model, finished in Regency Red with Beige interior. A bereavement sale, the car has been unused for some time, although it has apparently been started regularly. In the current ownership since 2012 with two previous recorded keepers showing on the V5C. The history file contains the V5C, original brochure, handbook, invoices and MoTs. 2570 miles are recorded on the odometer. As an historic vehicle, the Jaguar is now MoT-exempt; its last expired in August 2017 after having been tested the previous year at 2543 miles.
