The Junior editions of the Peugeot 205 were aimed at more youthful buyers, offering features such as a denim interior and excellent economy, especially in later variants such as this one which came with a 1.1-litre fuel-injected engine mated to a five-speed gearbox (earlier cars having a carburettor and four-speed transmission). This example was registered in June 1994 and has had five registered keepers from new, with an MoT through to October 2024. The odometer shows 88,263 miles. Since 2022, it has been owned by a motoring journalist and been frequently featured in Classic Car Weekly newspaper during that time. The car has been in very regular use and was driven 50 miles to the sale. It is reported as running and driving well (and being quite nippy and fun yet also very frugal with fuel) and in good, all-round condition albeit with some signs of age and use now showing. Issues noted include a small oil leak (an MoT advisory only), one instrument panel bulb blown, and a heater fan that tends to work when it wants to. Inside, the Junior retains its original denim features, working Peugeot radio/cassette player and its sunroof (with individual blinds) is leak-free.

Paperwork includes the V5C, recent and older invoices (including one from December 2023 for a full service, front brake pads and rear brake shoes and a new brake master cylinder, at 86,666 miles, and new front brake discs and a timing belt change in March 2022 at 81,080 miles), Haynes workshop manual and book pack with owner's handbook, radio instructions, radio code and service book (stamped up to 41,207 miles in June 2000). There's also a set of spare keys plus a selection of Peugeot wheeltrims.
