1960 FORD CONSUL MKII FROM THE MICHAEL LEWIS COLLECTION
Part of the Michael Lewis collection of eight vehicles being sold by ACA.
The original owner of this 1702cc Ford Consul worked at Ford's factory in Dagenham, its second owner was his son. It was hand-painted some years ago, but beyond that is believed to be very original. For the last 10 years, the car has been in dry storage but was running when parked up. However, due to its period of inactivity, it is likely to need recommissioning before use. It was registered in April 1960 and has had three registered keepers since DVLA computerisation. The odometer shows 60,266 miles and the car's last MoT expired in June 2016, after being tested the year before at an indicated 60,123 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Consul is now MoT-exempt.
Paperwork includes the V5C, an old V5 and the buff logbook, some old tax discs, the owner's manual, and an MoT certificate from 1977.
