2003 FORD FOCUS RS 5,628 MILES ONE OWNER
This excellent condition 2003 Ford Focus, registered in September of that year, has only covered a mere 5628 miles from new (confirmed by the history that accompanies it). During that time, it has had just one owner who has always kept it serviced and garaged and used it purely for enjoyment during decent weather as a second car - it has never even carried passengers. It is all original save for the strip below the windscreen, which had to be replaced after mice got into the engine bay and nibbled it. A move to Yorkshire in 2017 meant the RS had to go into secure dry storage, from which it has only just emerged, even coming to ACA on a covered trailer so that the damp autumn weather wouldn't get at it. The vendor describes it as a very reluctant sale. The car has been given a new battery (plus a new battery in its key fob) but as it hasn't been used since 2017, it may require some recommissioning.
Paperwork with the Focus includes the V5C, invoices covering the car's life and all MoT certificates. There's also a copy of Car magazine from October 2002 featuring the RS, brochures, and the original book pack. This includes the owner's handbook and supplement, audio guide, warranty and service guide, and the service book. The latter has four main dealer stamps from September 2004 at 1414 miles through to 5575 miles in April 2017. There's also a declaration of provenance from CarSafe storage testifying that Focus was kept in a secure, dehumidified warehouse from September 2017 until September 2024.
