The Scamp was a Mini-based kit car inspired by the Moke, which stopped production shortly after the first Scamp appeared in 1969. The MkI models (as here) were produced from 1969 to 1978, the MkII from 1978 to 1987 and the MkIII followed in 1988.

This example is based on a 1098cc Mini registered in November 1973. Its odometer shows 29,450 miles and its last MoT expired in August 2020 after being tested the previous year at an indicated 29,433 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Scamp is now classed as MoT-exempt. Two owners are recorded on the V5C. The vendor reports that the car runs and drives okay, and has recently had a new battery fitted.

The Scamp comes with a large history file that includes the V5C, MoT certificates, invoices back to the 1980s, and three folders of notes, technical information, sketches and other information. There's also a spare set of keys as well.
