This 2.0-litre Ford Capri was built during the mid-Eighties using two vehicles from a technical college used to teach students to repair accident damage. It was restored between 2004 and 2016 and repainted from white into Daytona Yellow. It now features a 2.0-litre Ford Sierra Pinto engine (with unleaded head), Ford Type 9 five-speed transmission, electronic distributor, power steering and stainless steel exhaust. The car is described as running and driving with no known issues. The original vehicle dates from 1972, but was re-registered in August 1986 with a new age-related numberplate. Its odometer shows 19,472 miles and its last MoT expired in July 2022, after having been tested the year before at an indicated 14,390 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, it no longer requires annual testing. Just one owner is recorded on the V5C.

Accompanying the Capri is the V5C, a comprehensive write-up of its history from the mid-Seventies onwards, 2021 Classic Car Weekly article on the car, DVLA and Ford correspondence related to the re-registration, assorted invoices and MoT certificates. There's also the owner's handbook plus a USB stick with photos of the restoration, general images and mileage spreadsheet from May 2018 to October 2024. There are some spare parts in the boot too.
