This 1936 Ford Model Y was bought by a farmer in 1948 and was sold at his retirement farm sale in 2000. It was purchased by Barry Nutley (motor cycle racer and BBC commentator) in January 2000 and was subsequently restored over a three-year period, being finished in 2020. The Ford was registered in August 1936 and has 64,691 miles showing on its odometer. The last MoT expired in July 2013 after having been tested the previous year at an indicated 64,178 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Ford no longer requires annual testing. It is reported as running and driving well with no issues. The large paperwork file stretching back to the 1950s includes the V5C, spares catalogues, invoices, MoT certificates, technical data and two manuals. There's also an instruction manual, copies of old V5Cs, a buff logbook and other miscellaneous correspondence.
