This Jaguar 240 (the later 2.4-litre variant of the Mk2) was restored from a bare metal shell during 2010. It was originally Warwick Grey. The engine was rebuilt last year and the interior woodwork was also re-veneered. In addition, new adjustable shock absorbers have been fitted all round and the bumpers rechromed. It is reported by the vendor, who has owned it for six years, to be running and driving well with no issues. The Jaguar was registered in December 1968 and has two registered keepers showing on its V5C. The odometer shows 87,648 miles and there's an MoT through to January 2026 even though, as an historic vehicle, the car no longer requires annual testing.
It comes with a substantial history file that includes the V5C, green logbook, a great amount of invoices over many years, MoT certificates, old tax discs and a book pack with owner's handbooks, dealership directory, Radiomobile radio instructions and service vouchers.
