2002 LONDON TAXIS INT TXII SILVER AUTO

This 2402cc diesel London Taxis International TX11 Silver cab was registered in October 2002 and is showing circa 298,502 miles on its odometer. Four registered keepers are recorded and its MoT is valid until March 2026. It was in service in London until 2018 and is running and driving. As a Golden Jubilee special edition, to celebrate the Queen's 2002 jubilee, this is one of only 50 made. Very few survive. All were individually numbered to reflect a year of her Majesty's reign. Not all of the 50 examples were sold prior to the event, with unsold ones stripped of their jubilee adornments and sold as ordinary ones. 25 of these specials took part in the closing ceremony of the 2002 Commenwealth Games in Manchester; there is now a rare Corgi model of the car. Paperwork includes the V5C and a couple of MoT certificates.
