1973 TRIUMPH SPITFIRE MK4
This Triumph Spitfire MkIV has been upgraded with a 1.7-litre Ford Puma engine, Mazda RX-8 five-speed gearbox, MX-5 seats and an immobiliser, along with other modifications chronicled by the copy of the December 2023 Practical Classics magazine that is in the history file and includes a six-page article on its build. It was registered in December 1973 and is showing 1403 miles on its odometer (presumably zeroed when the new engine went in). It has an MoT through to July 2025 although, as an historic vehicle, it is now MoT-exempt. The car was restored between 2015 and 2019. It has recently had an oil and filter change. Paperwork includes the V5C, the Practical Classics magazine, MoTs, large stack of invoices and a notebook listing all the modifications undertaken. There's also two sets of keys and fobs with a coded pouch for the immobiliser.
