1935 AUSTIN 12/4 ASCOT

This 1.5-litre Austin 12/4 Ascot dates from 1935 but was reregistered in April 1978, presumably because it had fallen off the DVLA's database. Five keepers have been registered since then. The odometer shows 19,865 miles and the last MoT expired in April 2008. However, as an historic vehicle, the Austin no longer requires annual testing. It's an older restoration; recent work has included a new ignition system, front tyres, wooden back seat frame, passenger front door and wood frame repaired. The vendor has owned it for two and a half years and reports it as driving well; it was driven to the sale. Spare parts include a tyre and secondary ignition system. Paperwork includes the V5C and a 2024 invoice for ignition work.
