1953 FORD ZEPHYR MK1

This 2.2-litre Ford Zephyr Six MkI was registered in August 1953 and has had just one owner from new. It has been off the road and in dry storage for some time; the last receipts in the history file date back to 1974. It was apparently only dry-stored due to a new car being bought. However, due to its period not in use, no attempt has been made to free-up the engine. The odometer shows 72,600 miles, which  is believed to be correct. There is no log book, V5 or V5C - although the car is still on the DVLA database - but there is the original bill of sale from a Woolwich dealership for £785 15s 4d, assorted invoices and sundry paperwork, including correspondence regarding an accident and repair after a lorry ran into the back of it in 1965. There's also the driver's handbook, two old driving licences and a December 1962 tax disc.
