This 750cc Triumph Trident T150V dates from 1971 but re-registered in March 2021 after being imported from the USA. Its odometer shows 00092 miles (which is the total ridden since it was restored) and there's no record of an MoT but, as an historic bike, the Triumph no longer requires annual testing. Its restoration was completed in circa 2021 with many new parts; it has a rebuilt engine (at a cost of £6000) with new pistons, cylinders re-bored to +20, cam followers reground and the head refurbished with new guides, recut seats and top quality G&S valves. There's also a new belt-drive primary drive and the crank reground, balanced and fitted with new polished rods. A five-speed gearbox is fitted, and the clutch was also replaced during the rebuild. Boyer electronic ignition has been installed, the wheels rebuilt and the frame powder-coated. The ‘matching numbers’ bike has been dry-stored in a vac bag and silica gel with a controlled humidity. Paperwork includes the current and a past V5C, and a stack of invoices mainly relating to the restoration.
