1968 RELIANT REGAL 3/25 DELUXE

The restoration of this lovely 1968 Reliant Regal 3/25 Deluxe was chronicled in Classics World magazine between July 2022 and May 2023, with a hard cover book of all the articles included in the history file. The Reliant was stripped to a bare chassis and rebuilt, with little regard for cost, after being off the road for decades. The emphasis was on staying close to standard spec, with the only deviations being the fitting of radial tyres rather than crossplies plus an electronic fuel pump. While the car isn't Concours, it was built to be smart and reliable, and was driven 50 miles to the auction. The respray has been done in Dawn White cellulose paint. The 598cc three-wheeler was registered in May 1968 and has 41,614 miles showing on its odometer. It has an MoT through to May 2026 even though, as an historic vehicle, it no longer requires annual testing. The V5C shows four registered keepers. Paperwork includes the V5C, restoration album, workshop manual, book documenting the car's restoration and invoices totalling over £5000. In addition, there's spare ignition and bonnet keys (but no door keys) along with spare refurbished wheels, some mechanical spares and paint.
