This 1976 Rover P6B is one of the rare 77 VIP models made to mark the end of P6 production. In 1976 Rover had 77 main dealerships throughout the UK and one car was allocated to each dealership; not for sale to the public but intended for the manager of each branch. The colours were either Brasilia Brown or Platinum Silver with a brown vinyl roof and pillars, special brown velour interior, air conditioning and pretty much every other option available at the time. It is believed that only seven or so survive.

This example was registered in October 1976 and has 07564 miles showing on its odometer. Its last MoT expired in June 2016 after being tested the previous year at an indicated 07123 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Rover is now MoT-exempt. Recent work has included a gearbox overhaul.  The brakes on the Rover are not working (aside from the handbrake) and so will need attention before the car is driven on the road. There may also be some gearbox issues to investigate too. Paperwork includes the V5C and a copy of a previous V5, information on the P6B VIP models, MoT certificates, and invoices back to the Nineties.
