1980 TRIUMPH TR7 CONVERTIBLE

This is an eye-catching Triumph TR7 with 1998cc 16v Sprint engine and five-speed manual gearbox. It was first registered 1982, so it probably began life as a dealer car. It's running and driving well, and the convertible roof is in good working order. The odometer reads only 54,693 miles, and although we can't guarantee its authenticity, this figure is consistent with the MOT record at least as far back as 2006. Documentation includes a BMIHT heritage certificate showing this TR7 to be a Home Market model that left the factory with Sundym laminated windscreen, heater, inertia-reel seatbelts and alloy wheels. The original colour was Persian Aqua but it is now finished in Rosso Red. The owner tells us that the cavities have been rustproofed with clear Waxoyl, and the original alloy wheels have been refurbished. The service history shows regular expenditure on service items and sundries since 2017 from Triumph specialists.
