1982 FORD CAPRI 2.8 INJECTION

2792cc. We're told this black Ford Capri 2.8i was in a farmer's barn for 20 years before being renovated in 2012. In 2017 it was treated to a five-page feature in Classic Ford magazine, which is included in the history file.

There's an impressive collection of receipts, showing that under the current owner's tenure the car has received (among other things) new tyres, various bushes and gaiters, propshaft UJs, brake hoses, upgraded radiator with Revotec fan, reconditioned steering rack, and engine work that included new valve seats and six new Bosch fuel injectors. It's been equipped with rear parking sensors, an intruder alarm, K&N air filter and a sports exhaust, and we're told it's also been treated to a new clutch, new crank bearing and crank seal.

The car passed its last MoT test in 2023 with no advisories.
