650cc. The present owner bought this Triumph Bonneville in 1987 and treated it to a full restoration over three years. He describes it as a “labour of love”, and records the bike starting again on in April 1990.
The bike comes with its original buff logbook, showing that the bike was first registered on 14th December 1964, painted “black and white/gold”, and spent its first few years on the south coast. Since the bike's restoration it has been on display at various shows, including the Bonneville Celebration in 1996. The current age-related registration replaced the original number (BAF 132B) in 1987.
In addition to the buff logbook, the history file contains receipts going back to the 1980s, period handbooks, tax discs, Triumph Owners Motor Cycle Club material, and historic MoTs from 1990 when the mileage was showing 33 miles. The odometer now reads 5482 miles.
A box of assorted parts is also included, including two wheel rims and an aluminium fuel tank. Sold with no key.
