1972 TRIUMPH 2500 SALOON

2498cc. This green Triumph 2500 Saloon, equipped with twin SU carbs, manual gearbox and overdrive, was first registered overseas and arrived in the UK in 1980.

The history file contains a list of recommissioning projects carried out in 2022-23 by the previous owner and the current vendor. These included new wheel cylinders, brake shoes and pads, NOS front bumper, battery, water pump, body seals, and four Minilite alloys with new Yokohama tyres. Receipts show that the car was also resprayed at a cost of £2500 (excluding surface preparation) in 2023.

It comes with handbook, and current V5C in vendor's name. The indicated mileage is 77,877.

A previous owner has added the ‘S’ badging. The vendor advises that there is a slight oil leak on the power steering pump.
