1976 MORGAN PLUS 8

3528cc. This red Morgan Plus 8 with black interior has been with its present owner since 1981. According to the Morgan Chassis Record which accompanies the vehicle, it was despatched from the factory in August 1976 to Phoenix Motors in Exeter. Today the odometer displays only 42,400 miles. This being an early Plus 8, the 3.5-litre Rover V8 engine has a pair of SU carburettors, and is connected to a four-speed manual gearbox.

The history file contains an impressive collection of receipts from Morgan specialists going back at least as far as the early 1980s, plus the current V5C in the vendor's name, MoT certificates from between 1981 and 2018, and owner's handbook. Tonneau cover and side screens are included in the sale.

A cut-out switch is installed between the seats.
