1960 FORD ZEPHYR MKII ESTATE

2553cc. This blue Ford Zephyr MkII Estate, with two-tone blue vinyl interior, was imported from South Australia in 2005. It reportedly owes the vendor in excess of £15k, but is being sold with no reserve as a non-running, unfinished project. Within the last 10 years the car has been treated to a bare-metal respray, in addition to new brake shoes and hoses all round. The brake drums were also reskimmed, the wheels were sandblasted and fitted with four new tyres, and the engine was fully serviced. It was apparently running well, but the car has now spent 8 years in storage. We are advised that most of the unfitted trim is inside.

The Zephyr comes with its old Australian registration certificate and is registered on the HMRC database, although it has not yet been registered in the UK. The indicated mileage is 53,631.
