1964 VOLVO PV544D

1798cc. The vendor purchased this Volvo PV544D, known as ‘Vera’, from its original owner in 2004. The car continued to be used in Finland until 2010, before being driven to the UK in 2010, where it was registered in 2015. The Finnish service booklet shows that Vera has been meticulously maintained, with no fewer than 64 stamps, despite only covering approximately 53,000 miles.

The car has reportedly always lived in a dry garage. We're told it was in regular use until 2023. It was then stored over winter, and failed to start in the spring of 2024. Today it's a non-runner, so recommissioning may be required.

In addition to the service booklet, the car comes with its current V5C, a handbook, three MoT certificates covering 2014-2016 and a selection of Finnish receipts going back to 1990. It was first registered overseas on 4th June 1964.
