1936 JOWETT KESTREL SALOON

This beautifully restored Jowett Kestrel 7HP Saloon, in black with green leather interior, comes with its original buff logbook which records 13th July 1936 as its date of first registration. Stamps show that it began life as a Norfolk car and remained local with the same owner until at least 1962.

Also included in the paperwork is a period lubrication chart, instruction book, technical information, old V5Cs and MoT certificates from between 2001 and 2012. Not much is know about the car's history, but the vendor believes it was professionally restored around 2020, and has driven no more 100 miles since then. The last MoT was passed at 69,481 miles and the odometer now reads 69,744.

It comes with a current V5C, which notes that the engine size is 248cc. However, we believe this is in fact a twin-cylidner 750cc unit
