1977 YAMAHA RD400

This impressive Yamaha RD400 has formerly been part of 2 private collections in Essex. It is believed to have had a nut-and-bolt concourse restoration at JD Classics around 2010, whilst in the ownership of its CEO. Since then it has reportedly been museum-stored, covering only c.1000 miles.

The bike is equipped with period Pirana electronic ignition and Bridgestone tyres, and the odometer shows 49,635 miles. Although it has been unused for several years, it is said to be running well, having recently received a new battery and fresh fuel. It comes with current and previous V5Cs, and old MoT certificates. First registration was on 26th August 1977, and there have been 12 former keepers.
