1979 DATSUN 280ZX AUTO

This red Datsun 280ZX is a 2+2 model with automatic transmission, showing 35,264 miles on its odometer. It has spent the last 10 years in storage, and the vendor describes it as a stalled project. Paperwork includes previous and current V5Cs indicating only 2 former keepers, both of which are known to the vendor. The car was first sold by Sheringham Garage in North Norfolk, and is believed to be an ex-demonstrator.

Partial recommissioning work has seen over £2000 recently spent on the brakes (new rear calipers are included, unfitted), and we're told the car is driving well. Its history file includes maintenance receipts going back to 1988, with one indicating a partial restoration in 1996. It also comes with many MoT certificates going back to 1986, plus a period sales brochure, Haynes manual and original handbook.

First registration was on 14th August 1979.

Although the car is MoT exempt, please note that the windscreen has a crack (see photos).
