1947 MG TC

This black MG TC comes with a 2015 dating latter from the MG T Register, giving a build date of 26th August 1947. It describes that the car was bought from an owner near Hull in 2015 as “essentially a barn find” with a period (but non-original) XPAG engine. Soon after, it was sold to a new owner who sympathetically refurbished the car and had it re-registered with an age-related (non-transferable) registration in October 2016. The V5C shows there have been 3 registered keepers since then, and the odometer shows 1886 miles.

The history file also contains DVLA correspondences regarding its re-registration, a receipt showing that the car changed hands for £23,000 in 2003, plus a few parts receipts, Octagon Car Club paperwork and a period instruction manual.

We're told the car has been in storage but not been on the road since last summer. The vendor advises that the electrics “could do with tidying”.
