Following victory at Le Mans in 1988, Jaguar produced two cohorts of the “Le Mans V12” limited edition, powered by the HE (High Efficiency) 5.3-litre V12. This example hails from the second batch, of which only 280 examples were made. Highlights of the Le Mans Edition include SportsPack suspension, lattice wheels, quad headlamps, heated Autolux leather seats, and a leather gear knob.
Finished in Signal Red with a cream leather interior, this XJ-S is a late pre-facelift example showing 83,149 miles on its odometer, and has been registered to the vendor since 2021. It was originally sold by Colliers of Sutton Coldfield, and its service book records 14 stamps up to 80,309 miles in 2003. Paperwork includes an invoice for an additional service in 2006. The latest MoT was passed with no advisories, but this expired in 2022.
The car is supplied with its handbook pack in the original embossed Le Mans V12 wallet, together with two sets of keys, spare remote fobs, various old MoT certificates, and previous & current V5Cs.
First registration was on 19th June 1991.
