1992 ROVER MINI ERA TURBO

This rare Mini ERA Turbo is one of 436 built by English Racing Automobiles. Powered by a turbocharged 1275cc A-series engine, the ERA Minis were the fastest ever to be sold through Mini dealerships, and many were sold to Japan. 

This is one of those cars. Finished in Flame Red, with a grey leather interior, it has had only 1 registered keeper since arriving in the UK from Japan in 2018, and its odometer is showing 13,918km (8648 miles). The last MoT was passed with no advisories in 2018.

The Mini's paperwork comprises an original sales brochure, Japanese instruction leaflets, inspection sheets and export papers, and a UK receipt dated 2018 for over £1100 of recommissioning. This included reconditioning the radiator, and fitted 4 new tyres, plus new gaskets, speedometer cable and other sundry items. 

The HPI shows the engine size as 1875cc, but it is in fact 1275cc. There is no V5C, so the next owner will need to apply to the DVLA for a new one.
