1968 MG B GT

This MG B GT was first registered on 15th October 1968 and its odometer shows 70,687 miles. The car has spent almost its entire life in one man's tenure, the father of the vendor who believes he purchased it from its original owner in 1972. We are told he always kept it under cover and only used it during the summer months. The MoT record shows it being tested annually up to 2020, passing most inspections without advisories, including its latest. As it has not been used since its MoT expired in 2021, some recommissioning may be required.

The history file makes for interesting reading. It includes the original handbook, period inspection sheets, and maintenance invoices with early servicing dating back to 1969, plus further invoices from the 2010s and old tax discs. Also present is a notebook recording fuel fill-ups and mileage accrual with barely a break from 1970 to 2018. The original wheels accompany the car, along with a period Johnson's travel kit and an AA member's handbook from 1964–65.
