This MG B Roadster has had 1 registered keeper from new, and its odometer shows just 22,230 miles. It comes with its original sales invoice from Willacy and Baker Ltd near Preston, and the vendor fairly describes it as “one of the best-preserved examples of a rubber-bumper MGB Roadster you'll ever see”.

Paperwork includes an original Ziebart certificate showing that the car was rust-proofed from new, together with a collection of tax discs (1989-2009), previous & current V5Cs, and a service book which indicates 4 services up to 8567 miles in 1981. The vendor tells us that it has also received a recent oil change.

Finished in Russet Brown, the car appears to still be wearing its original tyres and has received very little use in recent years, so recommissioning will be required before it is used on the road. The vendor has not road-tested the car but describes it as “running well”. Its last MoT was passed with no advisories, although this expired in 2015.

The MG was first registered on 1st August 1980, less than 3 months before production at Abingdon ended.
