1963 LAND ROVER SERIES IIA

This 88in Land Rover Series IIA truck cab was used in the filming of the movie Peter Rabbit 2 a few years ago. It was first registered on 11th September 1963, and its odometer shows 95,134 miles. The vendor purchased it in 2019.

Period features include a round Smiths heater, twin wiper motors and correct, deep sill panels. We're advised that the 2.25-litre petrol engine starts well. The tow bar was reportedly added to support filming equipment, so the vehicle has not been used for towing.

It comes with a good collection of receipts dating back to 2015, one indicating over £6k worth of refurbishment in 2020 following a small fire; renewed components included the radiator, wiring loom, and many hydraulic and plastic components. The Land Rover also benefits from recent rear seats and canvas hood, and is supplied with a large poster from the film.
