1964 MORRIS MINOR 1000

1098cc, manual. This attractive Morris Minor 1000 two-door saloon has been in weekly use throughout the summer months, living in a garage all year round, and it reportedly runs well. The vendor purchased it from one of our sales in 2023, and tells us: “Since my purchase the car has had its brake and engine recommissioned, including a new head gasket. It has four new tyres and the wheels have been refurbished. A new wiper motor has also been fitted but is not yet connected.” The V5C indicates only 3 former keepers.

The first recorded change of keeper was in 1983, and the next owner held onto the car until 2019, apparently keeping it in storage for 30 years. It is supplied with a set of period number plates, original handbook and the passport to service, showing the car was originally purchased in March 1964 from a dealer in Tottenham. The odometer is showing 79,032 miles.
