1992 SAAB 900 TURBO 16V

1985cc, 5-speed manual. This head-turning Saab 900 Turbo 16v is a Carlsson tribute which received £6700 of expenditure in 2025. This included a Carlsson body kit, wheels, spoiler, arches, rear vents, some structural restorative work, an APC ‘red box’ (giving a claimed 185bhp) and the colour coding paintwork required to create the Carlsson look.

Only 140 miles have been covered since its latest MoT was passed with no advisories, and this remains valid to 16th December 2026. The vendor tells us it “runs and drives superbly”. The only reported faults are the tailgate struts which aren't strong enough for the spoiler, and the switch for the electric sunroof which can be temperamental.

The car is supplied with spare keys, a collection of receipts showing a further £5300 of previous expenditure, and a fully stamped service book containing an impressive 42 stamps (including the PDI). It spent 28 years with its previous keeper up to 2024, and the V5C indicates only 3 former keepers. The odometer shows 253,820 miles. In 2012 the car was recorded as a Category D insurance loss ("damaged but repairable") but it has passed numerous MoTs since then.
