2548cc, auto. This red Daimler V8 250 has an impressive MoT record going back at least as far as 2005 when DVLA records were digitised, and its latest test was passed with no advisories in 2022. The metallic red paintwork is complemented by a smart red interior with gently-aged leather, and around 3k miles have been covered since its comprehensive restoration (including an engine rebuild) in 2005.
The car comes with a large collection of receipts and MoT certificates, tax discs, and original maintenance handbook, a meticulous hand-written diary of its restoration, plus a log of various works going back to the early 1980s. One note suggests there may have been a change of odometer at around this time. Today the odometer is showing 21,013 miles.
In 2003, before the restoration, the Daimler was registered on VCAR as a Category D insurance loss ("damaged but repairable"). It recently formed part of a deceased estate, and its last change of registered keeper was in 2019. The V5C is present.
We're told that it “drives really well" and is "solid underneath. Everything's ok, except a slight exhaust rattle when setting off”.
