1977 VW T2 PICK-UP

This 1977 Volkswagen Type 2 Pick-up is a fantastic looking machine that has been greatly improved from standard. Fitted with a Turn Key VW Speed Shop 2.3 litre high performance engine, fuel injected Weber carburettors, Fuchs alloy wheels, Pro-Street gearbox, power steering, high torque starter motor and Fosseyway performance brake upgrades. Inside, the cab is fitted with a under seat Propex heater, front and rear cameras, heated front screen and sports steering wheel. Externally, a slide out cargo tray is hidden inside the treasure chest door. Supplied new to Greece, it was Imported and UK registered in 2019, the V5 records just one former registered keeper. Invoices on file show expenditure of over £30,000 and include a £13,705 spend with Aircooled Hut.

Although we have previously seen this T2 running and driving, it has now developed an electrical fault, possibly with the electronic control unit, due to it having been jump started. As such it is being offered as a non-runner that will require some attention before being used.
