1117cc, manual. This charming Mk1 Ford Fiesta L is believed to have never been welded or restored, and it comes with an advisory-free MoT to 1st June 2027. The metallic green paintwork and grey cloth interior are beautifully preserved throughout, and its odometer reading of 29,565 miles appears to be authentic (although this cannot be guaranteed).
Built in November 1982, the Fiesta started life as a dealer demonstrator. It was registered in January 1983, and the third owner kept it from 1985 to 2015 – selling reluctantly as she became too old to drive. The current owner of 3 years (an enthusiast who hasn't been without a Fiesta since 1986) has used it only for shows, and the V5C records 7 keepers altogether. Despite its low mileage, the MoT history shows that it has been tested almost every year.
Equipment includes a more modern Ford-branded radio cassette player, "GL" model wheel centre caps and genuine Ford mud flaps. A set of front driving lamps is included but not currently fitted. Recent works have included replacing the rear shock absorbers and alternator, and fitting a new old-stock steering wheel. The car is supplied with 3 keys, original handbooks and a collection of maintenance receipts from 2015 onwards.
