1975 ROVER 3500S

3528cc, auto. The vendor purchased this lovely Tobacco Leaf brown Rover 3500S from the son of its original owner in 2015. Last summer, after being laid up in a garage for 30 years, it was sent to a P6 specialist for a thorough overhaul costing nearly £6k. The invoice itemises work including new hydraulics, carb rebuilds, reconditioned calipers and a refresh of the ignition and fuel systems. Since then the car has also received 4 new tyres.

The vendor describes it as a “very original vehicle” although “various aspects of the car still need attention". For example the heater controls are not working, and the gear lever bushes need to be renewed. He adds that "with some TLC the car will certainly be worthy to be displayed at Club events." The odometer displays 82,459 miles.

A few papers accompany the Rover, including various MoT certificates going back to 1989, the V5C which shows 2 former keepers, and a letter from the vendor to its next owner. A few spare filters are also included.
