847cc, five-speed manual. In the late 1990s, Perodua's Nippa was the cheapest car on sale in Britain, despite its hardy Daihatsu engine and mechanicals. This enthusiast-owned example recently featured in the Concours de L’Ordinaire at the Festival of the Unexceptional, as well as appearing on YouTube and completing a charity road trip to the Netherlands.

The radio has been upgraded to a DAB unit with Bluetooth, but otherwise the car remains highly original and exceptionally well presented. Its owner also recently put it through an MoT which is valid to 29th June 2027. He describes it as “great fun to drive” and tells us it “runs and drives superbly". The odometer shows only 34,474 miles.

The car comes with spare keys, a collection of MoT certificates and various receipts from the last few years. Its last service was completed in March 2026, and the cambelt was renewed in 2023 at 29k miles. Last year it also had its coolant, brake fluid and gearbox oil renewed, and 2023 saw renewal of both the headlining and exhaust.
