1982 MORGAN 4/4

1899cc, manual. Affectionately known as ‘Poppy’, this Morgan 4/4 is finished in Signal Red and powered by a 1899cc Ford CVH engine, which was fitted new in 1999. Usability is improved by the addition of a luggage rack, rear seatbelts, 4 sidescreens and tonneau cover.

The car comes with a large collection of receipts going back to the mid-1980s. History highlights have included a full bodywork restoration and respray by Brand's Hatch Morgans in 2011 using fibreglass wings front and back. In 2021 the interior was also re-upholstered and a new tonneau cover was fitted, costing nearly £3500.

The folder also contains an owner's handbook, a large collection of MoT certificates, and previous and current versions of the V5C which indicate 3 former keepers before the vendor acquired the car in 1999. The MoT is valid to 26th November 2026 and the odometer shows 27,169, which is believed to represent 127,169 miles.
