1977 TRIUMPH 2500S

2498cc petrol, 4-speed manual + overdrive. This Triumph 2500S is presented in handsome overall condition, with lovely chrome, Tahiti Blue paintwork and a smart black vinyl interior. It recently passed an advisory-free MoT which is valid to 4th August 2027, and its odometer shows 78,312 miles.

The vendor acquired the car in 2016 and has displayed it at various car shows. Previous owners began a restoration process, which the vendor has continued, and he has supplied a long list of work carried out in his ownership. Highlights include a professionally gearbox and overdrive overhaul, including a new clutch, thrust bearing and slave cylinder, a replacement starter motor, windscreen, electronic distributor, spin-on oil filter adapter, front callipers, new radiator, complete stainless exhaust system, an unleaded head and many joints and seals. The engine oil and filter have been changed annually, and the vendor tells us that during periods when the car has not been in use, he has run it up to operating temperature every week. 

The car is supplied with spare keys, its original handbook, various MoT certificates covering the period 2001 to 2026, and the current V5C. It was first registered in March 1977.
