1964 MORRIS FG K30 TRUCK
2199cc petrol, manual. This Morris FG K30 spent the first 32 years of its life with a painter & decorator firm in Kidderminster, and received a light restoration by the previous owner who acquired it in 2005. It still presents in tidy and original condition, having been bought by the vendor at ACA in 2017 and barn-stored ever since, covering less than 300 miles. That year it also received a three-page feature in Classic & Vintage Commercials magazine, which described it as a “substantially original and extremely rare survivor that's covered just 39,000 miles from new and retains all its original steel panelwork. The wooden body too, is almost all the same material as it originally left the factory with.” Today the odometer displays 41,045 miles.
In addition to the 2017 magazine, the truck comes with its passport to service containing 8 stamps (plus the PDI) up to 27,411 miles in 1995, together with details of all its previous keepers from new, the original handbook, the last sales invoice for over £12,700 at ACA, and a collection of MoT certificates going back to 1995. Between 2006 and 2017 it was passing MoT inspections every year without a single advisory, and the latest MoT (now optional) expired in 2018.
The V5C records 9 former keepers and gives the date of first registration as 1st December 1964.
