1990 WARTBURG 1.3 LHD

This rare 1990 Wartburg dates from the final years of production, after the original two-stroke three-cylinder engine had been replaced by a more modern and user-friendly 1272cc four-stoke, four-cylinder unit from the contemporary Volkswagen Polo. Originally registered abroad in May 1990, the left-hand drive, sunroof-equipped car came to the UK in July 2016, and has had four registered keepers since then. It has been laid up for the past few years and so will require some recommissioning before it returns to the road. 56,777km are showing on the odometer, and the last MoT expired in October 2019, after having been tested the previous year at 55,775km. Documentation with the car includes the V5C, print-out of the online MoT information back to 2016, and a printed sheet of images. There's also a set of Russian numberplates.
