1981 ALFA ROMEO ALFASUD EXPORT 1500

Imported from South Africa during 2022, this original condition 1981 Alfasud 1500 is, unlike many examples of its type, mainly rust-free in significant areas such as the chassis and sills etc (although there are some areas of minimal surface rust, according to the vendor). The engine is described as good with no smoke or rattles, and a new clutch slave cylinder and front brake caliper have recently been fitted. The vendor considers that minimal work would be required to make this unmolested example of a rare car an excellent everyday vehicle. The car starts and drives but the brakes are noted as being spongy, as it hasn't been used for the last two years. Circa 104,000kms (approx 64,600 miles) are recorded on the odometer. There is no current MoT; as an historic vehicle, the Alfasud no longer requires annual testing.
