1980 VW (T3/T25) DEVON CAMPER 

This Volkswagen Devon-converted camper is in full working order but could now do with some bodywork and improvements as a rolling restoration, according to the vendor. A previous restoration was carried out approximately 10 years ago (with photos in the file) and some of the offside rear bodywork was replaced circa 2017. It is equipped with a pop-up roof, rock and roll bed, gas hob and grille and sink with fresh water supply, all of which is in working order, with the VW capable of sleeping two adults and two children. The 1970cc air-cooled camper van was registered in March 1980, so is now MoT-exempt; its last expired in November 2020, after having been tested the previous year at an indicated 44,544 miles. The current indicated mileage is 52,060 miles, which the history suggests is actually 152,060 miles. The van is described as running well and being very reliable, but now has a slight weep from its brake/clutch fluid reservoir seal. Until 2020, the VW was in regular use; since then it has been in service for annual holidays and occasional usage. 

Recent work includes an oil service, while the rear tyres are described as nearly new. Accompanying the van is a large history file including photos of previous restoration work, all invoices for work done in the last 10 years, original handbook, booklets and Devon Motor Caravans brochure.
