1967 FORD CORTINA SUPER ESTATE MKII

1,598cc. This Ford Cortina Super Estate MK II, was declared manufactured in 1967. The vendor advises us that he spotted the car in an article in a Ford magazine and believes that it was ordered as a GT Estate with 1600E specification which included lowered suspension and bucket type seats, rather than the usual bench type. It was shipped abroad by the owner, a member of the visiting forces, and then brought back to the UK in 1995. It has had five owners since including the vendor. Following his purchase in 2015, the car was used for a while before it was stripped down and restored during 2018 and 2019.  

It is described as running well and apart from the fuel gauge not working correctly, there are no other known issues.

Comes with current V5, tax discs dated 2010 and 2012 and workshop manual. Please note that the V5 states “Custom concession: Visiting Forces - for advice contact HM Customs”.
