1955 TRIUMPH TR2

1,991cc. This original UK Triumph TR2 was subject to extensive restoration in 2013 when the bonnet, boot, wings and doors were removed and repaired and a bare metal respray to its current Silverstone grey paintwork. An electric cooling fan was fitted and polyurethane suspension bushes. Since the vendor's ownership in 2000 other improvements have included the original Lockheed axle being replaced with a reconditioned Girling axle and rear brakes in 2001, stainless exhaust and petrol tank and overdrive gearbox fitted in 2004. In 2023 it has benefited from a new clutch, clutch slave cylinder, new brake and clutch master cylinder plus an MoT, without advisories, which expires in January 2024. The car had previously been fully restored by Revington TR in the early 1990's.

The vendor describes the car as being in good running order without any known issues. 

It comes complete with a history file which includes Standard Register dating and production letter, receipts, MoTs from the 1990's and 2000's, tax discs, copy photos and other documents. Three owners are currently registered.
