2000 MAZDA MX-5 ICON SPECIAL EDITION

This Mazda MX-5 MkII, registered in April 2000, is an Icon special edition. Based on a standard model 1.8iS MX-5, only 750 units were made and cost £19,200.00 to buy new. Finished in Art Vin Mica, it featured 15in alloy wheels, low profile tyres, beige leather with matching lower dash, centre console and vinyl door trims, mahogany steering wheel, hand brake grip and gear knob complimented by a wood effect centre console and cream colour dials with chrome rings and chrome inner door handles. There was also ABS, Torson LSD, sports suspension, a six-speed transmission, power steering and a CD player. This example has had two registered keepers overall and is MoT'd through to May 2024. The previous owner, who owned it through to 2018, used it sparingly as she also had a company car. The vendor has had it since then, but has also not used it that much, with the result that the mileage reading is 73,713 miles. The vendor states that the car is running well, with no issues known about, and the hood is in very good order. Documentation accompanying the MX-5 includes the V5C, MoT certificates from 2022 and 2023, and the book pack with owner's manual, Sony radio instructions, and service book, albeit with no stamps.
